what days are safest for woman to have sex to avoid pregnancy in the monthly cycle? i use condoms only but?

i know it only works 87% of the time or something like that, i remember it's day 11 to 14 or day 14 to day 18 as i read from somewhere but im not sure anymore, as day 1 means the first day of your period not the last day of your period, am i still right? I lost track...thanks.

You have to figure out when you ovulate so you know what days you are most likely to GET pregnant. Use an ovulation calculator online to try to determine your most fertile days. If you don't know for sure when you ovulate then you need to be extra careful if you don't want to risk pregnancy.
